This section delves into the advanced modding mechanics of Warframe, focusing on Corrupted Mods and Riven Mods. These powerful items can significantly alter your Warframe and weapon capabilities, but require specific knowledge to obtain and use effectively.

Mechanics:

• Fragments are collectible lore items found throughout the Origin System.
• Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner, unlocking artwork and lore in the Codex's Universe tab.
• Scanning a Fragment also reveals a hidden point that, when hovered over, unlocks an audio transmission with additional lore.
• Some Fragments require direct interaction (default X) to acquire.

Fragments:

Fragments are categorized by their origin and type, with many detailed in dedicated sub-pages. The following are some examples:

• Cephalon Fragments: Found in missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They reveal lore about the Origin System, Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past. They appear on the mini-map with loot radar mods and can be found once per mission, except in Defense, Interception, and Archwing missions. Each planet/location has 2-3 fragments requiring 3-7 scans.
