The Mask of the Revenant — Warframe Walkthrough

Hey there, Tenno! Ready to uncover the mystery behind the Mask of the Revenant? This quest is a bit different, focusing on visions and piecing together a forgotten story. Let's dive in! First things first, you'll need to have reached the Observer rank with The Quills on Cetus. Once you've done that, head over to Nakak, the vendor on Cetus. Chat with her and select the "Mask?" prompt. She'll tell you about a strange mask she got from Onkko, called the "Mask of the Lost One," and she'll sell it to you for just 1 Cetus Wisp. ### A New Threat Looms Now, this is important: you need to equip the Mask of the Lost One on your Operator, not your Drifter. Go to your Orbiter, select Operator, then Appearance, Transference Suit, Hood, and equip the mask there. Make sure you also turn on the "Hood Closed" option so you can properly "see Unum things." Got it? Good. Head out to the Plains of Eidolon when it's nighttime. You'll want to make your way to the southwest side of Gara Toht Lake. Look for a large spectral silhouette of an Eidolon – it'll vanish into the ground. Now, as your Operator, search the shoreline for a small blotch of energy with a hand reaching out. Interact with it. Nakak will then get a vision from the Unum. This vision explains that Gara once defeated a Sentient here, and a warden was placed to keep it from returning. Sadly, that warden was eventually lost. Nakak will ask you to help rebuild "the lost one." She mentions the Grineer have found some relics, so your next step is to talk to Konzu and start a Bounty. Keep doing Bounties until you find and build any part of the Revenant Warframe. If you've already crafted a piece or bought Revenant from the Market, Nakak will just tell you to move on. ### A Terror Long Forgotten Back to the Plains of Eidolon at night! This time, the waypoint will lead you to the northeast side of Gara Toht Lake. You'll see the specter again, and you'll need to interact with another energy blotch. Nakak will receive another vision from the Unum. This one reveals that the warden kept fighting the Sentient, but hesitated at one point. To continue, you'll need to find and build a second part of the Revenant Warframe through Bounties. ### The Lost One Your final clue is a blotch of Sentient energy located on the river between Gara Toht Lake and Renthi Spring. Remember, this is only visible at night. Nakak gets the last vision: the lost one foolishly reached out to the Eidolon, allowing it to resurface and use the warden as an anchor. To stop it, the Warframe had to sacrifice himself by casting himself into the lake to seal the Eidolon away. Right as Nakak finishes her story, a Revenant Specter will appear and start attacking you with its Phantasma. Nakak will tell you to defeat this specter, which is essentially the mask for the Eidolon. Once you defeat the Revenant Specter, you'll get the blueprint for the Revenant Warframe! After you build Revenant, Nakak will warn you that she had a dream about a new Eidolon emerging, and you'll need Revenant's power to face this new threat. ### Tips for the Revenant Specter Fight If you're having a bit of trouble with the Revenant Specter, here are a few tricks: * Eidolon Vomvalysts can actually attack the specter. It'll fight back, but can't damage them when they're in their spectral form. * You can use your Archwing Launcher to fly out of the Phantasma's range and snipe the specter's head with a sniper rifle or bow. * If you have Octavia, her Mallet will draw the specter's aggression and constantly damage it. * Warframes that can force Finishers, like Excalibur with Radial Blind, can also make this fight much easier.
