Discover the locations and mechanics of all Fragments in Warframe. Unlock hidden lore and audiovisual content to deepen your understanding of the Origin System.

Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Finding and scanning them unlocks artwork and audio logs that reveal lore about the game's universe, characters, and factions. Some fragments require interaction, while others need to be scanned with a Codex or Synthesis Scanner.

Mechanics:

Most Fragments can be scanned using a Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This process unlocks artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can also be used as Orbiter decorations. Each image has a hidden point that, when hovered over, reveals a short audio transmission with additional lore. An audio clue, like white noise, helps locate this point. Other Fragment types simply require interaction (default X key).

Fragments:

These Fragments are categorized and ordered by their release date:

  • Cephalon Fragments: Data fragments found during missions, visualized as hovering blue data blocks. They usually appear as a blue quadruple diamond on the mini-map if loot radar mods are active. Each planet, moon, or location has 2-3 fragments requiring 3-7 scans. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions. Decrypting these reveals Ordis' Past.
  • Thousand-Year Fish Fragments
  • Glass Shard Fragments
  • Encrypted Journal Fragments
  • Nakak Memory Fragments
  • Fortuna Fragments
  • Partnership Fragments (Corpus Gas City)
  • The Tenets (Corpus Ship)
  • Lost Islands of Duviri Fragments
  • Albrecht's Notes
  • Isleweaver Fragments
  • Somachord Fragments
  • Frame Fighter Fragments
