Discover how to find and scan all Fragments in Warframe. Unlock hidden lore, audiovisual content, and decorations for your Orbiter with this comprehensive guide.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Scanning Fragments: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex Scanner or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork in the Codex under the 'Universe' tab, which can also be used as decorations on your Orbiter.
  2. 2
Audio Transmissions: Each scanned Fragment also has a hidden point on its artwork. Hovering your cursor over this point will reveal a short audio transmission containing additional lore. An audio clue (white noise that gets louder as you get closer) helps locate this point.
  3. 3
Interaction Fragments: Some Fragments do not require scanning and can be acquired by simply interacting with them (default key 'X').
  4. 4
Cephalon Fragments: These appear as hovering blue data blocks, often found in rooms during missions. They usually require 3-7 scans. They reveal lore about Factions, Characters, and Planets, and decrypting them reveals 'Ordis' Past'. They appear on the mini-map as a blue quadruple diamond if loot radar mods are active. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
  5. 5
Fragment Types: The guide lists various types of Fragments including Cephalon, Thousand-Year Fish, Glass Shard, Encrypted Journal, Nakak Memory, Fortuna, Partnership, The Tenets, Lost Islands of Duviri, Albrecht's Notes, Isleweaver, Somachord, and Frame Fighter Fragments.
Tips
  • Use loot radar mods to easily spot Cephalon Fragments on your mini-map.
  • Listen for the white noise clue to find the hidden audio transmission points on scanned artwork.
  • Fragments are released in order of their appearance in the game.
