Discover and collect various Fragments across the Origin System in Warframe. Learn how to scan and interact with these lore pieces to unlock hidden artwork and audio transmissions.
Walkthrough
- 1Scan Fragments: Most Fragments can be scanned using a Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This will unlock artwork in the Codex's 'Universe' tab, which can also be used as Orbiter decorations.
- 2Find Hidden Points: Within the unlocked artwork, there's a hidden point that, when hovered over with the cursor, reveals a short audio transmission with additional lore. Listen for white noise that gets louder as you approach the point.
- 3Interact with Fragments: Some Fragments do not require scanning and can be acquired by simply interacting with them (default key 'X').
- 4Cephalon Fragments: These appear as hovering blue data blocks, often hidden in mission rooms. Each planet, moon, or location has 2-3 fragments, requiring 3-7 scans. They reveal lore about the Origin System's factions, characters, and planets, and decrypting them reveals 'Ordis' Past'. They appear on the mini-map as a blue quadruple diamond if loot radar mods are active. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
- 5Other Fragment Types: The guide details various other fragment types including Thousand-Year Fish, Glass Shards, Encrypted Journals, Nakak Memories, Fortuna Fragments, Partnership Fragments, The Tenets, Duviri Fragments, Albrecht's Notes, Isleweaver Fragments, Somachord Fragments, and Frame Fighter Fragments. Each type has specific locations or methods of acquisition.
Tips
- Use loot radar mods to help locate Cephalon Fragments on your mini-map.
- Pay attention to audio cues (white noise) to find the hidden interaction points within artwork.
- Fragments contribute to a deeper understanding of Warframe's lore and characters.
