Discover hidden lore in Warframe by finding and scanning Fragments. Learn about Cephalon, Fish, Glass, Ghoul, Revenant, and more.
Walkthrough
- 1Scan Fragments: Most Fragments can be scanned using the Codex or Synthesis Scanner. This unlocks artwork and lore entries in the Codex under the 'Universe' tab.
- 2Audio Lore: Each scanned image has a hidden point that, when hovered over with the cursor, unlocks a short audio transmission with additional lore. White noise serves as an audio clue to its location.
- 3Interact Fragments: Some Fragments do not require scanning and can be acquired by interacting with them (default key 'X').
- 4Fragment Types: Fragments are categorized by their origin and lore focus, including Cephalon, Fish, Glass, Ghoul, Revenant, Solaris United, Partnership, The Tenets, Duviri, Albrecht, and Isleweaver.
- 5Cephalon Fragments: These appear as hovering blue data blocks, usually found in mission rooms. They unlock lore about the Origin System's Factions, Characters, and Planets, and reveal Ordis' Past. They cannot be found in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
- 6Fragment Locations: Fragments are found on most planets, moons, and locations in the Origin System, including the Void and Deimos, with 2-3 unlockable fragments per location.
- 7Scanning Requirements: Each fragment requires a specific number of scans to unlock, ranging from 3 to 7.
- 8Lore Content: The lore unlocked by Fragments covers various aspects of the Warframe universe, from planetary descriptions and faction histories to character backstories and the nature of Cephalons.
