Discover hidden Fragments in Warframe to unlock lore and audiovisual content. Learn about Cephalon, Fish, Glass, Ghoul, Revenant, and more Fragment types.

Fragments are hidden collectibles scattered throughout the Origin System in Warframe. Scanning or interacting with these fragments unlocks pieces of written and audiovisual lore, providing deeper insight into the game's setting, characters, and history. These unlocked lore entries can be viewed in the Codex under the 'Universe' tab and can also be used as decorations on your Orbiter. Some fragments also reveal audio transmissions that narrate additional lore, with a white noise clue guiding you to the interactive point.

Fragments are categorized into various types, including Cephalon Fragments, Thousand-Year Fish Fragments, Glass Shard Fragments, Encrypted Journal Fragments, Nakak Memory Fragments, Fortuna Fragments, Partnership Fragments, The Tenets Fragments, Lost Islands of Duviri Fragments, Albrecht's Notes, Isleweaver Fragments, Somachord Fragments, and Frame Fighter Fragments. Each type offers unique lore and may be found in different locations or through specific interactions.

Cephalon Fragments, for example, are visualized as hovering blue data blocks and are found in rooms during missions. Scanning them unlocks artwork and lore related to the Origin System's factions, characters, and planets, with decrypted fragments revealing 'Ordis' Past' narrated by Ordis himself. These fragments typically require 3 to 7 scans to complete and can appear on most planets and moons, excluding the Kuva Fortress. They do not spawn in Defense, Interception, or Archwing missions.
