This section details companion weapon builds in Warframe. Fragments are hidden items that unlock lore and artwork. They can be scanned with a Codex or Synthesis Scanner, or interacted with directly. Scanning unlocks artwork and audio transmissions with lore. Interacting with some fragments directly acquires them.

Mechanics: Fragments are scanned using a Codex or Synthesis Scanner, unlocking artwork and lore in the Codex's Universe tab. A hidden point on each image unlocks an audio transmission with additional lore, indicated by white noise that gets louder as the cursor approaches.

Fragments: These are categorized by their release date and type.

• Cephalon Fragments: Found in missions as hovering blue data blocks. They require 3-7 scans and unlock artwork and lore about the Origin System, Factions, Characters, and Planets. Decrypting them reveals Ordis' Past, narrated by Ordis. They appear on the mini-map with loot radar mods and can be found once per mission, except in Defense, Interception, and Archwing missions.
