How to Rescue Bazz: To Mired In Muck Walkthrough

To begin the Mired in Muck side quest, make your way to the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower. You can reach it by gliding from sky rocks to the south or by climbing the mountain on foot, being mindful of the muck. Alternatively, use the Ascend ability within the Upland Zorana Byroad cave (southwest of the tower) or the Upland Zorana Summit Cave (south of the tower) to tunnel up the mountain.

Once at the tower, proceed to the stairs on the western edge. You will find Bazz stuck in muck. Talk to him, and he will ask you to find some water to free him.

To free Bazz, you need a source of water. You can find Splash Fruit on a bush by following the cliffs south of Bazz. Alternatively, defeat a small Chuchu found further south to obtain Chuchu Jelly. Both Splash Fruit and Chuchu Jelly create a watery explosion when thrown.

Return to Bazz with either Splash Fruit or Chuchu Jelly. Hold down the throw button (B), press 'up' on the d-pad to select the item from your inventory, aim at Bazz, and release the throw button.

After being freed, Bazz will express his relief and reward you with his Zora Spear. If your weapon inventory is full, Bazz will hold onto the spear until you have space. The quest is not marked as complete until you accept the reward.
