Types of Korok Puzzles Explained

Dandelions

Dandelions can be struck with a weapon. After striking the plant, pay attention to where the seed lands. Strike it again and quickly move to its landing spot to catch the seed, revealing a Korok.

Separated Koroks

You may find a Korok who has been separated from its friend. You will need to reunite them. This can be done by picking them up with Ultrahand and carrying them, or by building a vehicle to transport them. Upon reunion, you will be rewarded with 2 Korok Seeds.

Glittering Trail

A glittering trail may appear racing along the ground. Interact with it to reveal a Korok. It is best to observe its route and wait for it to pass by again.

Time Trial

Leaf-pattern tree stumps indicate a Time Trial puzzle. Standing on the stump will initiate a countdown ring. Reach the ring before the time expires. Some puzzles require using environmental elements, such as wind drafts for gliding.

Pots

Pots, often found hanging from roofs, can be shot with an arrow. Doing so will reveal a Korok who will give you a seed.

Rocks

Rock-themed puzzles include lifting lone rocks to find a hidden Korok. Other puzzles involve rock patterns with a missing piece; placing the correct rock in the gap will reveal a Korok.

Balloons

Interacting with a spinning pinwheel will cause balloons to appear. These can be single or multiple, and sometimes moving. Use your Bow to shoot the balloons and reveal a Korok.

Leaves

Bundled leaves, found in caves or the open world, can be interacted with directly. Doing so will reveal a Korok who will give you a seed.

Tetris (Cube Puzzle)

Some walls have missing pieces. The scattered pieces can be found nearby. Use Ultrahand to pick them up and place them back into the wall to reveal a Korok Seed.

Statue Offering

You may find statues holding an empty bowl. Placing an Apple in the bowl will cause a Korok to appear and give you a seed.
