Follow our guide to complete the 'A Way to Trade, Washed Away' side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Find Garini's lost boats and earn a Star Fragment.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First, you must complete the two side adventures associated with Lurelin Village: "Ruffian-Infested Village" and "Lurelin Village Restoration Project."
  2. 2
Return to Lookout Landing and speak with Garini.
  3. 3
Teleport to the Sifumim Shrine above Lurelin Village and go to the Lurelin dock. Speak with Garini, who will tell you his fishing boats have drifted to Tenoko Island, located in the Necluda Sea north of the Marari-in Shrine.
  4. 4
Travel to Tenoko Island. You can fly or sail there. Swimming is possible but requires a full Stamina Wheel.
  5. 5
On Tenoko Island, find the three fishing boats on the beach. Use Ultrahand to attach two Fans and a Steering Stick to one of the boats. You can add a Rocket for extra speed.
  6. 6
Use Ultrahand to place the boat in the water and steer it back to the Lurelin Village dock. You can recharge your Zonai battery mid-sail by releasing the Steering Stick.
  7. 7
Once you return to Lurelin Bay, steer the boat near Garini on the dock to trigger a cutscene and complete the quest.
Tips
  • To reach Tenoko Island, you can use a Zonai device like a fan-powered boat or a Wing device with a rocket.
  • If you don't have enough stamina to swim to Tenoko Island, consider consuming stamina-restoring meals or elixirs.
  • When building your boat, ensure the Fans are oriented correctly to propel the boat forward.
  • The shop in Lurelin Village will offer free items after completing this quest. Remember to check back every few days as the stock replenishes.
  • Star Fragment
  • All items in Garini's shop become free.
