The Heroines' Secret

To start the quest, head to the Gerudo Shelter. Find Rotana, an NPC near a wall with an orb at her feet, and speak to her.

She will ask you to find and photograph four Stelae related to Gerudo heroines. Ensure the quest is logged and you have the Camera.

First Stelae: From Rotana, go through the large opening nearby. Look to the side for breakable rocks. Use a Bomb Flower or hammer weapon to break them and reveal the first stele. Take its picture.

Second Stelae: Find this stele in one of the hallways. It will be broken. In front of it is sand. Use Ultrahand to grab the visible piece sticking out of the sand, or use a fan item to blow the sand away. Rotate the piece and place it onto the broken stele. Take its picture.

Third Stelae: Locate the jail cell. Go through the opening next to it, which leads downstairs to a room with shelves. Break the vases/bottles on a ground-level shelf to reveal an opening. Crawl through and use Ascend to get inside the jail cell. The stele is on the wall. Take its picture.

Fourth Stelae: Find the classroom. If you are attempting this before completing the Lightning Temple, you can only enter the classroom in the late afternoon or at night. Inside, stand on the side with the dummies and look towards the entrance. The stele is in two pieces. Position yourself so the two pieces align, then take its picture.

Once you have all four pictures, return to Rotana and show them to her.
