The Mysterious Eighth

Speak to Rotana in the Gerudo Shelter to start The Mysterious Eighth. This quest is a follow-up to The Heroines’ Secret and can only be started after completing it.

You will need to find seven Gerudo Orbs and place them on the correct statues in the shelter. You can get at least one orb before completing the !Lightning Temple, but the rest should be collected after. The orbs can be collected in any order.

Optional: To get coordinates for a random orb location, feed a !Splash Fruit to Patricia, Riju’s sand seal, located near the throne room.

First Gerudo Orb: Found near where Rotana was when you started The Heroines’ Secret. Bring it to the first statue on the left. You will receive a Hydromelon as a reward for placing this orb.

Second Gerudo Orb: Located on a high shelf in the shelter's bedroom. Use Ascend to reach it or use Ultrahand to grab it from a ladder. Place it on the third statue on the right.

Third Gerudo Orb: Found on the ground in the room before the jail cell in the shelter, near the opening you can Ascend through. Place it on the middle statue in the back.

Fourth Gerudo Orb: In Gerudo Town, head towards the eastern exit, then turn left. Go up a short set of stairs to find the orb next to a Gerudo Spear. Place it on the second statue on the left.

Fifth Gerudo Orb: In the southern section of Gerudo Town's wall, find a pile of sand. Use a Fan or Korok Frond to blow the sand away, revealing the orb. Drop it to the ground and place it on the first statue on the right.

Sixth Gerudo Orb: Located near the eastern exit of Gerudo Town. You must complete the !Dalia’s Game side quest to obtain this orb. Dalia is a child Gerudo who may only be present in the later afternoon or early morning hours. After completing her quest, you can take the orb and place it on the corresponding statue.

Seventh Gerudo Orb: This orb is obtained by completing the !Dalia's Game side quest. After completing the quest, you will be able to take the orb and place it on the corresponding statue.
