- 2Exit the tower and head north to find a well. Climb down into the well, being careful of foliage near the bottom.
- 3At the bottom, find a fragile rock formation and smash it with a weapon fused with a rock or stone.
- 4Follow the revealed passage to find Elmerson trapped in a cage.
- 5Ascend out of the well and head south from the tower to find cliffs overlooking ruins.
- 6Jump and glide down to the ground below.
- 7Turn north to find a cave opening (Popla Foothills Excavation Site) on the cliff face. Enter it.
- 8Find the other side of Elmerson's cage. Use Ultrahand on a nearby rock and drag it onto the pressure plate to open the cage.
- 9Talk to the freed Elmerson, who will reward you with 50 Rupees and then go to fix the tower.
- 10Return to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and activate the launcher to dispel the fog of war for the Faron region.
