Where to Find The Fire Temple in The Death Mountain Depths

Learn how to find the Fire Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This guide covers navigating The Depths, using Brightbloom Seeds, and reaching the temple from Goron City.

The Fire Temple is located in The Depths, not in the sky. After defeating Moragia at the mountain summit, you must dive into the mountain to find it. If you are new to The Depths, it is recommended to consult a guide as it differs greatly from the sky and surface areas.

Upon landing, the area will be dark. Activate the Mutis Lightroot to illuminate your surroundings. Speak with Yunobo, who will be near the Lightroot. He will mention hearing a voice from deeper within The Depths. Follow the direction of the voice, using Brightbloom Seeds to provide additional light. Be prepared to encounter enemies such as Black Bokoblins and Fire Chuchus. Avoid the lava, as stepping in it will result in instant death or being pushed back to the edge. Stick to the path indicated by statues to stay on track. You will eventually reach an area with several Poe and a Zonai Dispenser. Collect the Poe, as they can be exchanged for Gloom Resistant gear.

Look for lava flowing down from a dark cliff and a clear path in front of the Zonai Dispenser. Use a Brightbloom Seed to light up the wall and climb it. Continue using Brightbloom Seeds to navigate. You will encounter more cliffs and a Zonai car. Use a Brightbloom Seed on the wall ahead and begin climbing. Do not rely on the car, as it cannot ascend steep walls and you may fall into the lava. After climbing a long wall, you will see a minecart track and Black Bokoblins in the distance. The Fire Temple will also be visible from this vantage point.

Defeat the Black Bokoblins and place a minecart on the track. Attach a Fan to it. Board the minecart and activate it for a swift journey to the Fire Temple. You will encounter enemies like Horriblin along the way. Use Yunobo's attack to defeat them without taking damage. You will eventually reach steps leading to the Fire Temple, where another cutscene will play.
