Follow this guide for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to start the 'Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!' side adventure, locate the imposter, and defeat the Yiga Clan.
Walkthrough
- 1Find Penn at Dueling Peaks Stable in West Necluda. Climb onto the stable's roof and then onto the horse head to reach him.
- 2Penn will tell you that Princess Zelda has been kidnapped by the Yiga Clan and that the rumor points to the Dueling Peaks.
- 3Travel to the Dueling Peaks. You can reach them by paragliding from Eshos Shrine across the river and then using Ascend through sky rocks.
- 4Reach the top of one of the peaks and find Zelda in a cage.
- 5Use Ultrahand to remove the cage. You will discover it's a trap set by the Yiga Clan, and the person inside is not Zelda.
- 6Three Yiga Clan Soldiers will appear. Defeat them.
- 7After the fight, Penn will appear, and you will receive Rupees as a reward, with the amount depending on how many Lucky Clover Gazette quests you have completed.
Tips
- When fighting Yiga Clan Soldiers, they are agile and have strong weapons, making melee combat difficult.
- It's recommended to use ranged attacks with your bow and arrow, applying buffs like Fire Fruit or Lightning Chuchu Jelly.
- Elemental rod weapons can also be effective ranged alternatives.
- Yiga Soldiers have relatively low HP but deal high damage and frequently disappear or jump around, making them hard to hit.
- Watch out for their slam down attacks and running charge attacks, as these are the most damaging.
- If you have better equipment and more hearts, you can try to land well-timed hits when they charge or prepare to disappear.
Rupees (amount varies based on completed Lucky Clover Gazette quests).
