Learn how to defeat the Seized Construct in the Spirit Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Strategies for its attacks and how to deal damage.
Walkthrough
- 1The fight begins after entering the Spirit Temple. You will be on Mineru's back for the entire fight, as the arena floor is covered in Gloom.
- 2Equip the Cannon before the fight. You can equip a capsule in battle if needed.
- 3The Seized Construct takes minimal damage from direct attacks (Cannon or punches).
- 4The primary way to deal significant damage is by pushing the boss into the barbed wire fencing surrounding the arena.
- 5If you have enough battery, use the Cannon to push the Seized Construct into the fence.
- 6If battery is low, use the Cannon to stun the boss, then hit it with a spiked ball to knock it back towards the fence.
- 7The Seized Construct has several attacks:
- Close range: Swipes that can be blocked with Mineru's shield.
- 8At half health: It gains new abilities including flying, an electric attack, and dashing.
- 9You can interrupt its attacks by shooting the Seized Construct with the Cannon.
- 10Dodge its attacks carefully, as they are heavy hitters and can lead to a game over quickly if your health is low.
- 11After defeating the boss, grab the Heart Container.
- 12Proceed to the Spirit Stone to trigger a cutscene.
- 13This fight fully restores Mineru's power and unlocks the Trail of The Master Sword quest. Mineru will now accompany you as the fifth sage.

- The Cannon is crucial for both dealing damage indirectly and interrupting attacks.
- Heart Container
- Mineru's power restored
