Complete The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's 'Legend of The Great Sky Island' side adventure. Learn how to light three bonfires on the Great Sky Island without touching the ground.
Walkthrough
- 1Make your way to the top of the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island. You can do this by gliding, using a Zonai device to fly, or climbing with Ascend.
- 2Speak with the construct in the middle of the temple roof to start the 'Legend of The Great Sky Island' side adventure.
- 3Agree to begin the ceremony. The time will change to 7 am, and a bell will ring.
- 4You must light three bonfires on the Great Sky Island before the bell rings at 7 pm. You cannot touch the ground during this process.
- 5Equip the Zora Armor and prepare a fire arrow (e.g., by combining a Fire Fruit with an arrow).
- 6Glide to the first waterfall on the right side of the island. Fly into the waterfall; it will restore your stamina and send you flying higher.
- 7From the air, aim and shoot a fire arrow at the first bonfire. Time is slowed when firing from the air, making this easier.
- 8Head towards the center bonfire. Even if it seems like you won't reach it, continue gliding. As long as you don't touch the ground or fall into the water, you will be fine.
- 9Shoot the second bonfire with a fire arrow.
- 10Move to the final side of the island and light the third bonfire.
- 11Use the waterfall closest to the Temple of Time to launch yourself back into the sky.
- 12Land back on the roof of the Temple of Time. The construct will acknowledge your completion of the ceremony.
- 13The construct will then explain the history of the Temple of Time.
- 14You will be awarded the Zonai Fabric. You can change your Paraglider fabric at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village by speaking with Sayge.
Tips
- Tulin's Gust ability cannot be used to speed up travel during this quest.
- Zonai devices are generally not reliable for this quest as they tend to rise in altitude too quickly.
- If you fall or touch the ground at any point, you will be transported back to the Temple of Time's roof, and you will need to speak to the construct again to restart the ceremony.
- Waterfalls are crucial for regaining stamina and gaining altitude.
- Time is slowed when you are aiming and firing arrows from the air, which helps in hitting the bonfires.
