How to Complete Rutafu-um Shrine

Alright, let's get this Rutafu-um Shrine sorted! It's tucked away in the Hebra Mountains, so get ready for a bit of a trek. If you've been to Hebra Peak before, you're in luck – just head northwest from there. If not, no worries, just keep pushing northwest into the mountains until you find the entrance to the Hebra Mountains Northwest Cave. You're looking for a big hole in the ground to drop into.

Once you're inside the cave, you'll make your way down. Clear out the first chamber, and at the bottom, you'll find a larger area. It's got ore, some useful Brightbloom Seeds, Bomb Flowers, and Brightcaps. You'll also spot some Bokoblins chilling at the back – best to take them out so you can focus on the shrine puzzle without any interruptions.

Now, see that ice block near the pond on the right? You'll need to melt it. The easiest way is to hit it with a Fire Fruit. Once it's gone, a chest will pop out. Inside, you'll find three Wings. Grab those, they're key to the next step.

Here's the tricky part: the Rutafu-um Shrine itself is right there at the back, but the crystal you need is missing! This kicks off the 'Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal' shrine quest. You'll notice the glowing crystal sitting in the middle of the pond, with a green light pointing from the shrine towards it. You can grab it with Ultrahand, but you need to get closer.

This is where those three Wings come in handy. Take them out and use your Ultrahand ability to stick them all together, forming a sort of bridge. You want to make it long enough to stretch over the water and reach the crystal. Don't worry if it dips a bit into the water; you just need it to be stable enough to walk on and get close enough to grab the crystal.

Carefully walk across your makeshift bridge, trying not to fall into the water. Get close enough so you can use Ultrahand to pick up the crystal. Once you get the crystal to the shrine, a little cutscene will play, and the shrine will open up. Good news – this is a Rauru's Blessing shrine! That means no puzzles inside. Just head in, grab the Topaz from the chest, and claim your Light of Blessing. Easy peasy!
