Dad's Blue Shirt Walkthrough

Follow this guide to complete the 'Dad's Blue Shirt' side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Learn how to find Zuta and retrieve the Island Lobster Shirt.

Alright, so you're looking to snag that cool blue shirt for Zuta, huh? This one's a bit of a throwback, actually! To even start this quest, you'll first need to have finished up two other pretty big side adventures in Lurelin Village: 'Ruffian-Infested Village' and 'Lurelin Village Restoration Project'. They can be a little involved, so make sure those are wrapped up first.

Once Lurelin Village is back in shape, head down to the beach and look for a guy named Zuta. Chat with him, and he'll tell you he's lost his dad's favorite blue shirt somewhere in the water. Don't worry, it's not too far!

Head a little ways up the shore on the west side of town. You'll want to use your Ultrahand ability here. Look down into the water, and you should spot a treasure chest sitting on the seabed. To grab it, find some wood floating nearby (there's usually some around), use Ultrahand to pick it up, and then carefully place it right next to the chest. Now, use Ultrahand again to lift the chest out of the water and set it down on dry land. Open it up, and voilà! You've got the Island Lobster Shirt.

This shirt is a fun little nod to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. When you go back and talk to Zuta with the shirt in hand, he'll be happy, and you get to keep the shirt. It's purely for looks and a neat Easter egg, so you can't upgrade it, but it's a cool piece of gear for any longtime Zelda fan!
