How to Complete Mayam Shrine

Hey there! Ready to tackle the Mayam Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom? You're in for a bit of a hunt, as this one isn't just lying around on the surface. We'll need to head up into the skies for this!

First things first, you'll want to make your way to the Thyphlo Ruins. It's pretty much smack-dab in the middle of the map, but way up north. If you haven't been there yet, don't worry! Just head to that northernmost point. Once you're at the Thyphlo Ruins, make sure to activate the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower. This is going to be your best bet for getting up into the sky easily.

After you use the tower's boost to launch yourself skyward, you'll want to glide towards the Northern Sky Hyrule Archipelago. Keep an eye out; you should be able to spot the shrine's general location on the right side of this cluster of islands. However, you'll notice the shrine itself is missing!

Here's the catch: You can't just waltz into the Mayam Shrine like some others. It's tied to a Shrine Quest called The North Hyrule Sky Crystal. You've got to complete this quest first to actually get inside. Don't stress, though – we've got a separate guide just for that quest, and it's pretty quick once you know what to do. You'll have the shrine unlocked in no time!

Once you've sorted out the Shrine Quest, the Mayam Shrine itself is straightforward. It's one of those shrines where you just head in, grab your reward, and you're done. For your efforts, you'll snag a Magic Rod and, of course, the essential Blessing of Light. Happy shrine hunting!
