Navigate the South Lomei Labyrinth in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Find the entrance, complete the surface and sky trials, and defeat the Flux Construct III to obtain the Evil Spirit Mask.
Walkthrough
- 1Find the South Lomei Labyrinth: Located in the southwestern corner of the map, between the Gerudo and Faron regions. It experiences both hot and cold weather, so prepare accordingly with armor or elemental weapon infusions. You can reach it by gliding from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower or by fast traveling to the Kitawak Shrine and heading southeast. The entrance is on the northern side.
- 2Surface Labyrinth: Read the journal at the entrance for clues. Follow the trail of acorns and nuts. Take the western path until you encounter a pool of gloom. You can cross it by creating a campfire with Wood, Flint, and a Hylian Pine Cone to generate an updraft, or by simply running through it as the health loss is temporary. Continue past a second journal and stairs. Follow the acorns/nuts, passing a third journal. When you drop into the eastern section, continue east past another gloom pool. Reach the middle of the southeastern and northeastern quadrants to find the final journal. Next to it, drop down to find the Motsusis Shrine and the dragon ring that leads to the sky portion.
- 3Sky Labyrinth: Travel to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and launch yourself into the sky. Glide southeast towards an island with Wings, Fans, and Rockets. Attach Rockets to the back of a Wing on a track and add a Steering Stick. Use your map to navigate south/southeast towards the labyrinth's northern entrance. Use the Rockets for an initial boost and consider using a Large Zonai Charge if your batteries are low. Activate the Siyamotsus Shrine upon landing for fast travel, then use the dragon ring to begin the trial.
- 4Sky Labyrinth Trial: The goal is to activate four terminals in the corners of the labyrinth. Wind currents will constantly flow upward, preventing you from falling as long as you stay within the labyrinth's bounds. Replenish stamina by landing on platforms. If you need a height boost, drop down (but not below the labyrinth) and deploy your Paraglider. Once all four terminals are activated, the wind will carry you to the roof, where you can unlock the path to the Depths.
- 5Depths and Sisustom Lightroot: Fall into the chasm beneath the sky labyrinth. Toss Brightbloom Seeds to illuminate the area. Ascend to the top of the labyrinth to find and activate the Sisustom Lightroot. If you get lost, fast travel to the surface shrine and dive back into the chasm.
- 6Boss Fight: Enter the inner sanctum to face a Flux Construct III. This enemy is composed of multiple blocks, with one weak block that changes periodically. Use Ultrahand to grab the weak block and hold it until the construct falls apart. Attack it with your weapon until it reforms. Repeat this process until the Flux Construct III is defeated.
- 7Quest Completion: After defeating the Flux Construct III, a dragon ring will activate. Interact with it to complete the quest. A chest will appear containing the Evil Spirit Mask.
Tips
- Prepare for both extreme heat and cold at the South Lomei Labyrinth by wearing appropriate armor or infusing weapons with elemental effects.

- Use the Rockets and Steering Stick to build a Zonai device for reaching the sky labyrinth. A Large Zonai Charge can be helpful for extending flight range.
- In the sky labyrinth, utilize the updrafts and platforms to manage stamina and reach higher areas.
- The Sisustom Lightroot in the Depths is located on top of the labyrinth structure.
- For the Flux Construct III, focus on grabbing the weak block with Ultrahand to disable it, then attack.
