Follow this guide to complete the An Eerie Voice side adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Find the source of the spooky sounds and help Penn!

This side adventure, An Eerie Voice, kicks off when you chat with Penn at the Highland Stable. He's on the hunt for the source of a spooky voice that's been freaking people out on the Fural Plain, just northwest of the stable. Penn's got a hunch it might be Zelda! Since you can only investigate this voice at night, make sure to use the nearby cooking pot to rest until nighttime if it's not already dark. Once it's night, chat with Penn again to get the search rolling.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You and Penn will head out to investigate the eerie voice. Penn will first lead you towards the Fural Plain.
  2. 2
Keep heading northwest, and you'll notice the voice getting louder and louder.
  3. 3
Follow the sound, and you'll eventually pinpoint its origin: the Haran Lakefront Well, located right in the middle of the plains.
  4. 4
Carefully drop down into the well. Inside, you'll find a woman named Sagessa.
  5. 5
After you've spoken with Sagessa, make your way back out of the well and find Penn.
  6. 6
Talk to Penn about Sagessa. It turns out it wasn't Zelda after all! You'll then receive your reward, which will be Rupees based on how many quests you've completed for the Lucky Clover Gazette.
Tips
  • Make sure it's nighttime before you start investigating the voice with Penn. If it's daytime, use the cooking pot at Highland Stable to pass the time until nightfall.
  • The voice will guide you directly to the well, so just keep following the sound.
