Master the Mayak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! Follow our step-by-step guide to solve the timing puzzles and claim your Light of Blessing.
Alright, let's get this shrine done! The Mayak Shrine is all about timing, so pay close attention. You'll find it out in the open in the East Deplian Badlands after fast-traveling to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and gliding northeast. No special gear needed for this one, thankfully!
Walkthrough
- 1As soon as you step inside, you'll see a platform on the left. Hop on it, and it'll boost you up to an upper platform.
- 2Once you're up there, use your Ultrahand ability to grab the ball and place it on the ramp.
- 3Now, drop back down to the lower level. You need to wait for the ball to roll all the way to the end of the platform. Right before it falls off, hit the pedestal nearby. This should move the platform into the correct position.
- 4If your timing was spot on, the ball will hit the bull's-eye, and the door to the next section will open. Easy peasy!
- 5Head through the door. You'll see another platform that will boost you up again. Glide from this one over to the next room.
- 6In this new room, don't worry about the pedestal just yet because there's no ball. Instead, stand on the platform and let it boost you into the air.
- 7You'll spot a smaller platform about halfway up. Glide over to it. This smaller platform will then boost you up to the final platform where you'll find another ball.
- 8Grab this ball with Ultrahand and place it on the ramp. Now, this is the tricky part: you need to jump all the way down and land on the platform with the pedestal.
- 9As soon as you land, quickly melee the pedestal. If you're fast enough, the ball will roll into place and land on the target, opening the last door.
- 10Make your way to the altar and interact with it to get your well-deserved Light of Blessing.
Tips
- The key to this shrine is definitely the timing. Don't rush the melee on the pedestal; wait until the ball is almost at the target before you hit it.
- If you miss the timing on the first room, don't sweat it. You can just reset and try again. The shrine isn't too long, so it won't take much time to get back to that point.
