Trying to swim in the lake is a no-go because it's freezing and will drain your health super fast. Plus, you can't use Ultrahand while you're submerged. So, we need to get creative and build a bridge.
- 4Melt the Ice and Get Zonai Devices: Look over to the right side of the pond. You'll see a block of ice. This is where fire comes in handy! Use a weapon fused with a Fire Fruit, or fire arrows, to melt the ice. Once it's gone, you'll find a chest. Open it up to get x3 three Wing Zonai Devices. These are going to be super useful for our bridge!
- 5Build Your Bridge: Now, use those Wing Zonai Devices to construct some kind of bridge. You don't need to cover the whole lake, just enough to get you close enough to the crystal so you can use Ultrahand to grab it.
- 6Retrieve the Crystal: Carefully walk across your makeshift bridge. Try your best not to fall into the freezing water! Once you're in position, use Ultrahand to grab the crystal. Gently bring it back to shore, drop it, and then you can pick it up to take it to the shrine pedestal.
- 7Activate the Shrine: With the crystal in hand, take it over to the pedestal you found earlier. This will activate the Rutafu-Um Shrine, and you can now enter it.
Rutafu-um Shrine Rewards:
This is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine, which means no puzzles inside! Just head straight for the chest to claim your reward: x1 Topaz. You'll also receive your Blessing of Light, which is the main prize for completing any shrine.
