Alright, so you're looking to help out Piaffe with his little problem at the Gerudo Canyon Stable? It's a pretty straightforward side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and a nice break from some of the more intense challenges. Let's get you sorted!

Where to Start:

First things first, you'll need to find Piaffe. He's hanging out at the Gerudo Canyon Stable. If you haven't been there before, just head towards the Gerudo Desert – there's really only one main road leading into it, and the stable is right along that path. Once you're inside the stable, look for Piaffe and have a chat with him to kick off the quest.

Walkthrough:

So, Piaffe's got a bit of a predicament. He's worried about the stable shutting down because of the harsh weather keeping customers away. He's got a ton of boxes piled up, and he's struggling to deal with them all. This is where you come in! Your task is super simple: you just need to destroy all the crates inside the stable. Link's pretty good at breaking things, so this should be right up your alley.

You can use pretty much any weapon you've got for this. A stronger blade or a hammer-type weapon will make quick work of them. However, if you have something that can create fire, like a weapon with a Ruby attached, that's actually a fantastic option! Fire can spread from one crate to another, taking out multiple boxes at once and saving your weapon durability. Plus, you might find a bunch of Apples and Acorns inside these crates. If you burn them, they'll get cooked, giving you some handy food items to use on your adventures.

Once you've smashed, burned, or otherwise obliterated every single crate in the stable, head back and talk to Piaffe. He'll be super grateful for your help.

For your troubles, Piaffe will give you one Pony Point. It's not much, but hey, you got to break a lot of stuff, right? More importantly, completing this quest unlocks two more side quests: "A Picture for the Closed Stable I" and "A Picture for the Closed Stable II." You can start those by checking out the two empty picture frames located at the back of the stable.
