Guide to clearing the Ruffian-Infested Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Learn enemy locations, effective strategies, and how to find the last monster.

Alright, so you've stumbled upon Lurelin Village and found it's a bit of a mess, huh? It's totally overrun by monsters – Black Moblins, Blue Moblins, White Moblins, Black Lizalfos, and a Black Boss Bokoblin. Honestly, this place is pretty tough, especially with the Lizalfos and Black Moblins throwing down. I'd say save this one for later in the game when you've got some solid weapons and armor. Seriously, don't try this if you're not ready!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
When you first approach Lurelin Village from the road leading down the cliff, you'll run into the first group of enemies. This is a really dangerous spot because it includes a Black Lizalfos. A pro tip here is to use White Chuchu Jelly to freeze them. This stops them from all rushing you at once, giving you a breather.
  2. 2
After dealing with that first group, you'll encounter another group, this time with a White Moblin. Try to find higher ground, like any vantage points you can spot, to get some cover while you fight.
  3. 3
Keep clearing out the monsters around the village. Once the main areas are clear, head to the tall platform right in front of the pirate ship. From there, glide down. Your goal is to stay up high where the monsters can't easily reach you. Attacking with arrows is your best bet here. Freezing enemies, especially that Black Boss Bokoblin, can really help rack up extra damage. Try your best to avoid close-quarters combat if you can.
  4. 4
After you've dealt with most of the enemies, climb onto the rear of the pirate ship. You'll find a Lizalfos wielding a wand up there. Use your arrows to take it out quickly.
  5. 5
If your monster health bar isn't empty yet and you're wondering where the last enemy is, don't worry. Just hang around the village for a few minutes. The monsters will eventually respawn at their original locations. If you've searched everywhere and still can't find the last one, check the Lurelin Well. It's near the center of town and you'll see smoke rising from it. Jump down, and you'll find a lone Black Moblin waiting for you.
Tips
  • Freezing enemies is a great way to control the crowd and prevent them from overwhelming you.
  • Utilize higher ground and ranged attacks (like arrows) whenever possible to gain an advantage.
  • Don't underestimate the Lurelin Well; it's a common hiding spot for the last remaining monster.

Once all the monsters are defeated, Rozel and Bolson will appear, and the next part of the side adventure, the Lurelin Village Restoration Project, will begin.
