How to Get The Stealth Armor in Tears of The Kingdom

The Stealth armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom significantly improves your ability to sneak past enemies undetected. To obtain this valuable gear, you must travel to Kakariko Village and visit the local armor shop.

Inside the shop, you'll find both the Stealth and Radiant armor sets. Initially, each piece of the Stealth armor is priced at up to 5,000 Rupees, bringing the total cost for the full set to 15,000 Rupees. However, you can reduce these prices by completing a short side quest called "Gloom-Borne Illness." This quest involves helping the shopkeeper's grandmother. Once she has recovered, the prices for the armor sets will decrease.

After completing the side quest, the Stealth armor prices will be as follows: the mask will cost 500 Rupees, the shirt 700 Rupees, and the tights 600 Rupees, for a combined total of 1,800 Rupees.

If you need the Stealth set immediately, you can purchase it at the higher price. The shop clerk will then refund you the difference once you have successfully completed the "Gloom-Borne Illness" side quest.

How to Upgrade The Stealth Armor Set

To upgrade any armor in Tears of the Kingdom, you first need to find and release the Great Fairies from their hiding places. Once they are available, you can exchange a specific amount of Rupees and materials to enhance each armor piece. The Stealth armor provides an inherent bonus to your stealth capabilities. However, after upgrading it, you will unlock the Night Speed ability, which grants Link an increased movement speed during the night.

The Stealth armor set is notably easy to upgrade, as it does not require rare items or monster parts.
