Learn how to start and complete the Wanted: Hinox side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Find the Hinox near Woodland Stable and defeat it using its weak points.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
To start the quest, go to Lookout Landing and complete the "Crisis at Hyrule Castle" main quest to obtain the Paraglider and unlock Skyview Towers.
  2. 2
Complete the "Bring Peace to Hyrule Field" side adventure.
  3. 3
Return to Lookout Landing and find Scorpis in the middle of the area to unlock the Emergency Shelter.
  4. 4
Speak with Gralens in the Emergency Shelter. He will offer several monster-related side quests; choose the "Wanted: Hinox" option.
  5. 5
The quest will mark the Hinox's location on your map, which is near Woodland Stable. The closest fast travel point is Ekochiu Shrine, located right outside the stable.
  6. 6
From Woodland Stable, follow the road southeast. You will find a raised area with some trees; the Hinox will be sleeping in the middle of this clearing.
  7. 7
Defeat the Hinox by targeting its eye with arrows.
  8. 8
Once defeated, collect the loot and return to Gralens to report your success.
Tips
  • Hinox enemies are often found sleeping, giving you an opportunity to attack them and deal damage before they fully wake up.
  • The Hinox's weak spot is its eye. Aiming arrows at its eye will cause it to stumble, leaving it vulnerable to further attacks.
  • The Hinox attacks by sweeping its arms, attempting to sit on you, and using nearby objects (in this case, trees) as weapons.
  • If you're having difficulty hitting the Hinox's eye, fuse a Keese Eyeball to your arrow. This will cause the arrow to home in on the eye.
  • At lower health, the Hinox may start protecting its eye with its hands.
  • Silver Rupee upon completion.
  • An additional Gold Rupee if you have already completed the other two "Wanted" quests.
