A Sliver of Hope

Visit the old couple to ask for their help: Travel to Konda Village. Find the elderly couple, the Imatani’s, in their front garden north of the waypoint. Speak with them to trigger a scene where Yoimiya introduces you as travelers and friends. They express gratitude for Yoimiya's family's service and mention their struggle with weeding their garden due to old age. Yoimiya offers to help, and the old lady asks you to deliver pickled radishes to Satoru.

Help the old couple clean up their courtyard: Locate and attack the seven bushes in front of the Imatani’s house to clear the weeds.

Give the Pickled Radish to Satoru in the village: Head south across the bridge to the outskirts of the village to find Satoru. Talk to him for a brief conversation.

Report back to the old couple: Return to the Imatani’s house north of the village waypoint. Speak with them to witness a scene where they reminisce about their past and their connection to Naganohara Fireworks. They reveal that Sakujirou and their son, Keisuke, were once best friends but had a falling out over Sakujirou's desire to explore the world while Keisuke preferred Inazuma's peace. Keisuke is now a high-ranking official in the Tenryou Commission. After the scene, you and Yoimiya discuss the situation, concluding that it's best to inform Sakujirou of the news.

Tell Sakujirou the news: Teleport back to Inazuma City and go to the Naganohara Fireworks shop. Yoimiya's father informs her that the Tenryou Commission was searching for Sakujirou, who managed to escape. Morihiko overheard that Keisuke was involved. Yoimiya emphasizes the urgency to track them down. The quest concludes after this scene.
