Getting Started: The Angler's Art

To start fishing, you'll first need to complete the "Exploding Population" World Quest, which introduces you to the mechanic and rewards you with your first Fishing Rod. After that, you can chat with Nantian at the Mondstadt Fishing Association to get the "Endless of the Sea" fishing rod.

Baiting Your Hook

Different fish prefer different bait. You can craft bait at an Alchemy Bench using materials you gather from the world. Here are some common bait types:

• Fruit Paste Bait: Crafted from Sunsettia and Berry.
• Redrot Bait: Crafted from Slime Condensate and Cherry Blossom Flower.
• False Worm Bait: Crafted from Slime Condensate and Wheat.

The Fishing Mechanic
