Find Noctilucous Jade in Genshin Impact: Farming Guide

Noctilucous Jade is a rare mineral that glimmers in the dark, said to be a mutated gemstone condensed from the flourishing elements of the world. It is primarily used as an Ascension Material for characters like Beidou and Yanfei, and is also needed for some side quests.

Noctilucous Jade can be found in caves in Liyue, specifically around Mingyun Village. Additionally, it can be purchased from Shitou in Liyue Harbor, who sells 5 Noctilucous Jades every three days. Shitou is located at a stall just northeast of the southern Liyue Harbor teleport.

Best Places to Farm Noctilucous Jade

Mingyun Village Farming Route

Start: Teleport to the Statue of the Seven, south of Mingyun Village.

Jump and glide north into a crater with a small pool of water. Enter the cave entrance to the south within the crater to find a few Noctilucous Jade deposits.
From the crater, turn east and climb the mountain. Continue east towards the domain, then face southeast and break a wall to find more deposits. This breakable wall is located just south of the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula Domain.
Backtrack to the house near the crater and head north, following the mountain northeast. You'll find another cave in the cliff face with more deposits. Be aware of some enemies in this cave.
Teleport to the northern Mingyun waypoint. Jump and glide north to find several deposits at the base of the cliff by the sea.
From the northern waypoint, head northeast to a pool of water. Near a Shrine of the Depths, turn southeast and climb the rock to find a cave entrance. Follow the cave until you find a small pool of water, swim through it, and turn northeast to find more deposits. This step can be done before step 4.

This route can yield over 20 Noctilucous Jades in 5-10 minutes and can be repeated every 48-72 hours.

Sal Terra Farming Location

Sal Terra contains a cave on its northeastern island that holds Noctilucous Jades and Cor Lapis. This area is only accessible after completing the Zhongli story quest.

Once accessible, drop to the bottom floor of the cave, climb onto land, and face north to find several Noctilucous Jade deposits. Some Cor Lapis can be found further in.
