Walkthrough
- 1Ask the Millelith about the situation. Teleport to Minlin, Liyue and speak to Daipai.
- 2Investigate the Ruin Guard’s whereabouts. Follow the path south from Daipai, looking for footprints on the ground, leading to a ruin.
- 3Defeat the Ruin Guard. As you approach, it will activate. Watch out for its Stomp Attack, Spin Attack, Clap Attack, Leaping Punch, and Bombardment. Use charged attacks from an Archer to its head core to stagger and immobilize it for heavy damage. If you interrupt its Bombardment with a charged strike to its back core, it will be staggered.
- 4Keep searching the surrounding area. Follow the path south and approach the small boy to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) and acquire Teucer’s Mora Pouch.
- 5Go to Northland Bank. Teleport to Liyue Harbor, head south, and follow the path and red stairs to the top of the Northland Bank. Enter the bank to complete the quest.
Tips
- The Ruin Guard's Stomp Attack can be dodged by moving to its back.
- For the Spin Attack, back away until it finishes.
- Dodge forwards to get behind the Ruin Guard during its Clap Attack.
- For the Leaping Punch, back away from the initial punches, then dodge forward as the AoE marker appears.
- Keep distance and dodge at the last second to avoid the Bombardment missiles.
- A charged strike to the Ruin Guard's head core can stagger it.
- A charged strike to the Ruin Guard's back core can interrupt its Bombardment attack.
