Act 2: Farewell to the Past

Continue the pursuit: After that tea break, you'll need to keep following some markings. They'll lead you to a beach where you'll find a cave. Just glide down from the pedestals, and you can't miss it.

Defeat the Rifthounds: Inside the cave, you'll face a mix of Thundercraven Rifthound Whelps, a Thundercraven Rifthound, and a Rockford Rifthound Whelp. Don't worry too much, though – you'll be playing as Ei for this fight, and she's pretty powerful, so you should be able to handle them quickly. After this, you'll team up with some Samurai from 500 years ago to finish off any remaining Rifthounds.

Go to the cave below the Grand Narukami Shrine: It looks like Ei isn't doing so well, so it's time to head to the Grand Narukami Shrine. From there, glide over to the rock formation to the northeast. You'll need to interact with an Electrogranum before gliding down further to enter another cave. This is where the next big scene will happen.

Defeat the Raiden Shogun: Get ready for a tough fight! After the scene, you'll be controlling Raiden Ei again, and your target is the Raiden Shogun herself. Many of her attacks will feel familiar if you fought her in the Archon Quest, like her spinning spear and shockwave attacks. She can teleport right to you and unleash a flurry of spear slashes followed by a shockwave, so be ready to dodge fast. She might also dash at you for a series of slashes without the shockwave. Keep up the pressure with your attacks, and use your Elemental Skill whenever it's ready for maximum damage. Watch out, she'll summon a Magatsu Electroculi nearby – destroy it ASAP! Once you've knocked her health down a bit, she'll put up a shield, making her invulnerable and letting her heal. There's no way to stop this, so just focus on dodging her attacks until it wears off.

Phase 2 Tips: During the second phase, pay close attention to the AoE markers on the ground to avoid electro attacks. Unlike the first phase, wait for her shield to drop before using your Elemental Skill. She'll also be firing rings of electro at you, so keeping your distance will make dodging much easier. Eventually, she'll summon illusions of herself. Dodge their attacks and focus on hitting them to find the real one. She'll heal herself again, so just keep dodging the attacks you've seen and unleash your Elemental Skill once her shield is down to finish her off.
