Act I: License to Glide

Alright, let's get this gliding exam done! This is the second quest in Amber's story, called 'Wind, Courage, and Wings'. We'll walk you through everything you need to know to pass it with flying colors.

Unlock Criteria: You'll need to be Adventure Rank 8 and have finished the Archon Quest 'The Outlander Who Caught the Wind' before you can start this one.

Quest Rewards: Completing this quest will net you 175 Adventure EXP and 4,375 Mora.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Go to the exam point

First things first, we need to head to Galesong Hill, which is located in Mondstadt. The easiest way to get there is to teleport to the Windrise Statue of the Seven. From there, just head south across the river. You'll spot Amber chilling by the edge of a cliff – that's our exam point! Go chat with her. You'll trigger a scene where she asks if you've read the gliding manual. Paimon will chime in about the stories in the book, and Amber will realize she gave you the wrong one – oops! It turns out it was actually a book she used to read as a kid. She'll then tell you that you need to glide through a specific route to a finish line.

Step 2: Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time

Okay, this is the main event! You've got a strict sixty seconds to complete the course. Once the countdown hits zero, it's time to jump off the cliff. Your goal is to glide through the white acceleration circles that pop up in front of you. Flying through these will give you a nice little speed boost, which you'll definitely need. After you pass the first set of circles, keep heading north. You'll see the next set waiting for you above a large tree. Make sure you grab those! Once you've gone through that set, start angling towards the northeast. You'll notice another set of circles there. This next part is a bit tricky – it has several smaller sets of circles that zigzag left and right. Keep weaving through them! As you reach the end of this zigzag, you'll see two more circles pointing downwards. Go through those, and then you'll need to land and speak to Amber to finish the challenge. She'll be impressed, telling you that you nailed it! She'll then mention that the next part of the exam is in Mondstadt, and with that, the quest will wrap up.
