Tree Gathering Tips

1. Each tree provides three pieces of wood before refreshing. Trees refresh after chopping ten different ones, or upon relogging.
2. Attacking multiple trees with a single strike only yields wood from one. Ensure you hit individual trees.
3. Characters with fast attacks, like Keqing or Xiangling, can gather wood more quickly due to the short cooldown between chops.
4. Chopping Apple or Sunsettia trees is efficient as they provide both fruits for dyes and Cuihua wood.
5. Giant trees cannot be chopped down.

Woods

• Aralia Wood — Obtained by chopping Inazuman Cedar on Narukami Island, Inazuma.
• Bamboo Segment — Obtained by chopping Bamboo found around Qingce Village and Yujing Terrace.
• Birch Wood — Obtained by chopping Birch Trees found around Windwail Highland and Stormbearer Mountains, Mondstadt.
• Cuihua Wood — Obtained by chopping Cuihua Trees, which also yield Apples and Sunsettias.
• Fir Wood — Obtained by chopping Faber’s Fir Trees found around Starsnatch Cliff and Stormbearer Mountains.
• Fragrant Cedar Wood — Obtained by chopping Cedar Trees found around Brightcrown Mountains, Starfell Valley, Springvale and Wolvendom.
• Maple Wood — Obtained by chopping Amur Maple Trees found on Narukami Island, Inazuma.
• Otogi Wood — Obtained by chopping Otogi Trees found on Yashiori Island, Inazuma.
• Pine Wood — Obtained by chopping Pine Trees found around Dragonspine, Golden House, Minlin (West Liyue), Wuwang Hill, and inside Mondstadt City.

Fabric and Dyes

• Yellow Dye — Can be crafted from Berries or Cor Lapis. Berries are found throughout Teyvat. Cor Lapis can be purchased from Changshun.
• White Iron Chunk — These ores are found all over Teyvat and can also be purchased from Shitou.
