Geo Hypostasis

Learn how to defeat the Geo Hypostasis in Genshin Impact. This guide covers its attacks like Geo Clap and Hammerfall, its weaknesses, and the best strategies to win.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Geo Hypostasis is immune to Geo damage.
• It is weak to Claymore attacks and Elemental Skills that can destroy its pillars.
• Its core is only vulnerable when exposed.

Phases:

1. Normal Attacks: The boss uses various Geo-based attacks while its core is protected by a shell.
2. Pillar Summon: The boss summons pillars and attacks from them. Destroying these can stun the boss.
3. Geo Clap: The boss forms a large clapping structure to crush the player. Dodge sideways.
4. Geo Missiles: The boss launches volleys of stone pellets. Keep running in one direction to evade.
5. Hammerfall: The boss transforms into a hammer and slams down, creating an aftershock. Dodge sideways.
6. Shockwave: The boss sits on a pillar and emits an outward shockwave. Dodge backward from the pillar.
7. Rockfall: AoE markers appear, indicating where rocks will fall. Stay out of the marked areas.
8. Shockwave Combo: All pillars emit shockwaves simultaneously. Stay away from pillars. A yellow object may appear that can create a protective force field around a pillar.
9. Glyph Explosion: Glyphs appear under the player and explode quickly. Dodge immediately.
10. Terra Resurgence: When low on health, the boss retreats to the center and summons three pillars. All three must be destroyed within 10-15 seconds to prevent health regeneration (10-15% per remaining pillar).

Strategy:

• Bring characters with Claymore attacks (e.g., Beidou, Chongyun, Diluc, Razor, Noelle) to effectively destroy pillars and stun the boss.
• Noelle can also act as a shield user to mitigate damage.
• When the boss's core is exposed, use high-burst characters to deal maximum damage quickly.
• To stun the boss, lower the health of the pillars it stands on with Claymore users, then destroy the pillar when the boss is on it. This stuns it for about 10 seconds.
• During Shockwave Combo, if a yellow object appears near a pillar, destroy it to create a force field that negates damage, allowing continuous attacks on the pillar.
• During Terra Resurgence, prioritize destroying all three surrounding pillars within the time limit to prevent the boss from healing.

Upon defeating the Geo Hypostasis, spend 60 Original Resin at the Trounce Blossom to claim your rewards. The boss respawns after a short cooldown or can be made to respawn instantly by teleporting away and back.
