Trails in Tianqui

Complete the Trails in Tianqui world quest in genshin impact. Find the Ancient Tablet and solve tower challenges to collect Light Actuators.

Tianqui Ruins can be found in the south western edge of the Liyue region. The Ancient Tablet can be found at the central part of the ruins in between the three towers.

North Tower - Torch Puzzle

In this tower there will be three torch challenges, one on each floor.

• Floor 1: As you enter the tower you will come across six torches arranged in a triangle formation. Start with the torch closest in the middle of the row closest to the entrance and light it up with a Pyro character. Next, light the torch just to the west of it and this will light up all six. Open the chest and head up to the second floor.
• Floor 2: On this floor you will have another six torches but this time in a star formation. Start by lighting up the torch in front of the chest first and then light up the next torch to the east of it and that will light all six up allowing you to open the chest and head up to the last floor.
• Floor 3: There are eight torches to light, two on each wall in the room. Light them up in any order to collect a pyramid object which is called a Light Actuator. Head out of this tower and enter the tower to the west.

West Tower - Time-Trial Challenge

In this tower you will be faced with reaching the top of the tower before the timer hits zero. You will need the Traveler attuned to Geo as you will need its elemental skill to get to each platform. Start by pre placing a Starfell Sword right next to the platform in the northwest and then start the challenge by activating the pedestal right next to it. You will have 60 seconds to reach the top and get the Light Actuator. Climb on your pre placed Starfell Sword and on to the first platform, turn around and climb the ledge behind you, follow it around to the side and place another Starfell Sword and jump on the platform, place a Starfell Sword on the edge of this platform and climb on top of it and glide to the platform to the west. From here jump on to the ledge and follow it around to the pedestal hosting another Light Actuator, pick it up and exit the tower and head over to the last tower which is situated on the south.

South Tower - Kill the enemies in the allotted time

There is three floors here, each with their own challenge which will require you to kill the enemies in the allotted time.

• Floor 1 - Kill four enemies in 40 seconds: On the first floor you will be tasked with dispatching three Rock-Shield Hilichurl and one Electro-Crossbow Hilichurl, activate the pedestal to start the challenge. Start by destroying the electro-rock nearby which will lower the enemies’ defenses. By using Electro and following it up with Pyro on the Rock-Shield Hilichurls, you will trigger Overload which is very strong at destroying Geo based shields, after their shield has been broken finish them off with charged attacks or Pyro. Close the distance to the Electro-Crossbow Hilichurl and finish it off with normal attacks. Pick up the chest and head to the second floor.
• Floor 2 - Kill five enemies within 60 seconds: This floor is a little tougher as you will need to kill two Large Pyro Slimes, one Slime-Thrower Hilichurl, Normal Red Hilichurl and one Pyro-Crossbow Hilichurl which will be enhanced by a pyro-rock. Start off with destroying the pyro-rock and lowering their defenses. Hydro characters like Xingqui and Cryo characters such as Kaeya are strong on this floor. Focus on taking down the Hilichurls first and leave the Pyro slimes to last. By combining Hydro and Cryo elemental skills you will trigger Frozen on the Pyro Slimes it will trigger Vaporize or Melt depending on whether you use Hydro or Cryo.
• Floor 3 - Kill 6 enemies within 60 seconds: The last floor is the toughest of all because you will have to face off against one Hydro Abyss Mage, two Large Cryo Slimes and three Cryo-Crossbow Hilichurls. Start off again with destroying the cryo-rock to lower their defenses and then start on the Hydro Abyss Mage. The Hydro Abyss Mage will take the most time because they will have an Elemental Barrier surrounding them which will negate any HP damage as long as they have it. To counter this you should start off by using Electro skills to trigger Electro-Charged that will do continuous Electro damage over time, if you then use Cryo skills you will trigger Frozen, follow up with another Electro skill to trigger Superconduct which deals AoE Cryo DMG and reduces the target’s Physical DMG Resistance. Once its barrier is down keep rotating between Electro, Cryo and physical attacks to take it down. For the two Large Cryo Slimes and three Hilichurls, prioritize using Pyro and Electro skills to quickly take them down. Once the challenge is completed open the chest and collect the final Light Actuator and head out of the tower.
