The Golden Apple Archipelago is a special, limited-time explorable area in Genshin Impact. To unlock it, you must complete the prerequisite quest "Mysterious Islands: Journey to the Unknown" at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in Mondstadt.

Upon arrival, you'll find four main islands: Pudding Isle (east), Twinning Isle (northeast), Broken Isle (west), and Minacious Isle (southwest). These islands expand and change as you progress through the "Mysterious Islands: Journey to the Unknown" quest line, specifically after completing "Summer Vacation: Proceed With Caution."

Key Features of the Golden Apple Archipelago:

• Waverider: This is your primary mode of transportation, a boat equipped with Swiftstrike cannons and Heavy Cannons. It also features a speed boost and a special jump function to help you reach higher ground. You can summon the Waverider at Waverider Waypoints.
• Waverider Waypoints: These activated waypoints (blue when active, red when inactive) allow you to spawn your Waverider at their location.
• Glimmering Beacons: These beacons are crucial for navigation, especially when the archipelago is covered in fog. They act as checkpoints and guide you through the area, appearing on your mini-map when you're close.
• Echoing Conch: Collect these scattered conches to hear tales from the past. There are 32 in total, with many rewarding the "Summertime Sparkle" outfit for Barbara. More conches become available as you progress through the event's acts.
• Wind-Blessed Harpastum: Obtained after completing "Summer Vacation: Proceed With Caution," this gadget can be thrown to break painted walls, uncover treasures, and activate Hymnal Rings.
• Buoys: Destroying three hidden buoys will transition the map to Part II of the event.
• Mist Bubbles: Follow these bubbles on the water to find floating crates filled with Mora.
• World Quests: Six unique world quests can be found within the archipelago, including "A Trip Through Fog and Wind" and "The Other Side of Isle and Sea."
• Local Specialties: This area is unique as it allows you to find local specialties from various regions, such as Dandelions and Starconches, all in one place.
