Complete The Black Serpent Knights' Glory in genshin impact. Defeat the Abyss Lector and destroy 4 charging devices.

Check the situation at the center of the ruins’ summit

Use the teleport waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) and go through the southern portal to reach the summit. Head to the center to trigger a cutscene where a mysterious figure activates a device to undo a curse. Halfdan sacrifices himself by laying on the device, interrupting it and angering the figure, who reveals themselves to be the Abyss Lector. A battle ensues.

Defeat the Abyss Lector

The Abyss Lector is an Electro enemy whose attacks can drain your energy. Be aware of the following attacks:

• Lightning Bolt: Three bolts track you, leaving AoE markers. Keep moving until the attack passes.
• Lightning Burst: Absorbs energy for a powerful burst. Dodge away when you see it absorbing energy.
• Lightning Orb Barrage: Hurls three lightning orbs. Run to either side to avoid them.
• Lightning Orbs: Conjures several orbs that fire in all directions, used after Trance is activated. Get distance and dodge towards the orbs just before they hit.
• Cross Lightning: Two bolts converge at your location. Wait until they converge and dodge towards the attack.
• Trance: Activates after a certain time or health threshold. The Lector floats, absorbing energy before unleashing a large AoE Electro burst. Keep your distance when he floats. This state grants an Electro shield that nullifies all health damage until broken. Breaking the shield ends the battle.

Strategy:

The Abyss Lector is not particularly tough when unshielded, but avoid his energy-draining attacks. The Lightning Burst is common at melee range. A Shield Support character like Zhongli can mitigate damage. Pyro characters can deal Overload damage, while Cryo characters can inflict Super-Charged, reducing his defense. Bring a healer and a support character to provide energy, as many attacks drain it, hindering Elemental Skills and Bursts. Most attacks can be dodged, and shields can protect against missed dodges. Using both Cryo and Pyro will deplete his health quickly.

Talk to Dainsleif

After defeating the Abyss Lector, a cutscene plays where Dainsleif explains the device is still working. You can choose to offer yourself as a replacement for Halfdan, but Dainsleif advises you to destroy the device instead, noting the rays of light may hold the answer.

Destroy all the charging devices (0/4)

The four rays of light lead to portals in the North, East, South, and West. Each portal contains Abyss Mages guarding a charging device.

• North Portal: Approach the device to face a Pyro Abyss Mage and an Electro Abyss Mage. Their combined AoE attacks can be dangerous due to the Overload effect.
