Venti's New Plan

Venti’s plan to sweet talk his way into getting the Holy Lyre back backfires. He’s come up with a new plan, but seems he’ll need your help for it to work.

Talk to Venti

Speak to Venti, inside the Cathedral in Mondstadt, and he’ll tell you that he knew it wouldn’t work, but he wanted to see how influential you’d be. He’ll suggest that stealing it, is your only option. You’ll have your reservations about stealing the Lyre, but Venti will talk you into it. The Knights are off duty throughout the night according to him, and would be the best time to perform the act.

Enter the Cathedral at night (18:00 - 06:00)

You’ll get a quick tutorial, telling you how to skip time. Go to the menu, and click the clock icon, and change the time to around 19:00. When you do, you’ll be placed outside the Cathedral, and it’ll be night. Head back in and head to the front, and interact with the staircase behind Venti to enter the basement.

Infiltrate the basement and obtain the Holy Lyre der Himmel

You’ll have to navigate through the area remaining undetected, if a guard spots you, an eye icon will fill up red, break the line of sight to reset it. The easiest way to do this, is by staying on the left side at all times. To get past the first guard, you can hide yourself between the center wall and the bookshelves. For the second guard, stand at the pillar to your right until he passes, then make a dash towards the ladder. Once you’re up, time another dash towards the Lyre, if you’re quick enough, the guards won’t spot you. As you get near to the Lyre, you’ll get a scene. It appears someone got to the Lyre before you did, alerting the guards, you’ll run out of the Cathedral, and the quest will end with the next one starting immediately.
