Your Genshin Impact walkthrough for the City of Freedom! Learn how to glide with your new Wind Glider to meet Amber at the fountain plaza and progress your Archon Quest.

Alright, so you've just stepped foot into Mondstadt for the first time! It's pretty impressive, right? This city is going to be your main hub for a while, packed with places like the Blacksmith to upgrade your gear and the Adventurers' Guild, which you'll get to know really well soon.

Before you go exploring every nook and cranny, Amber wants to see you. You'll want to head towards the higher ground, past that giant windmill, and make your way to the central plaza. Look for the huge statue of Barbatos, the Anemo Archon. The game will actually help you out here – just open your Quest menu, find the quest name, and hit 'navigate'. A golden trail will pop up to guide you. Oh, and while you're at it, make sure Amber has that Recurve Bow equipped!

Once you're ready, head over to the Adventurers' Guild and chat with Katheryne. She's got rewards for you based on your Adventure Rank level.

After a bit of a chat about Mondstadt, Amber's going to give you your very own Wind Glider! Pretty cool, huh? She'll explain how folks in Mondstadt use them to zip around. Now, for the fun part: you need to jump off this wall and glide down to the objective marker near the fountain at the bottom of the city.

To do this, just press your jump button twice. Your Wind Glider will pop out automatically. You can then steer yourself down towards Amber, who's waiting for you. Just gently guide yourself to her to wrap up this part of the quest!
