Follow our Genshin Impact guide for Act 2: Cleansing Light. Complete all steps, defeat Rifthounds, and uncover the past with Ei and Furuyama.
Walkthrough
- 1Talk to Katheryne: Head to Inazuma and speak with Katheryne. She will explain that Rifthounds are attacking the Sacred Sakura and the Tenryou Commission is struggling to defend it. Warp to the Grand Narukami Shrine and head northeast to find some Rifthounds.
- 2Defeat the Rifthounds: Engage and defeat multiple waves of Rifthounds. The waves include Rockfond Rifthound Whelps, a Rockfond Rifthound, a Thundercraven Rifthound, and Thundercraven Rifthound Whelps. A friendly character will appear during the fight.
- 3Look for the marks left behind: After a scene with Ei, follow the path and cross the wooden bridge. Look for purple markings on the rock ahead, climb up, and follow them past pedestals until you reach Araumi. Speak with a ghost of a samurai who recounts events from 500 years ago.
- 4Continue the pursuit: After your conversation with Ei, proceed along the rocky path. You will encounter two Rockfond Rifthound Whelps and Thundercraven Rifthound Whelps. You will play as the Raiden Shogun for this fight. After defeating them, Furuyama, who was present during a past disaster in Inazuma, will appear and share his story.
- 5Go to the Kamisato Estate to get a tea set: Furuyama wishes to offer tea but cannot due to current circumstances. Travel to the Kamisato Estate and speak with Hirano to borrow a Tea Set. During this time, the Raiden Shogun will answer any questions you have about the past.
- 6Go to where the tea master is: Once Hirano delivers the Tea Set, return to Araumi and speak with Furuyama. Enjoy tea with Ei, and the quest will conclude.
Tips
- When fighting the Rifthounds, be prepared for multiple waves.
- Pay attention to the purple markings to navigate towards Araumi.
