Wedding Horns

Immediately after 'A Fury from the Sea', travel to Elmenham for Oswald's wedding to Valdis.

Speak with Oswald outside the church. Dialogue choices have no significant story impact.

After the ceremony and Oswald's crowning, a cutscene with Finnr will occur.

Explore the festivities. Speak with the brothers Brothir and Broder.

Archery Contest: Find Brothir south of your spawn. Shoot all pots within 20 seconds to earn 50 silver.

Potential Crew Member: Northeast of the church entrance, a random crew member might be available for recruitment.

Drinking Game: Head southwest to Broder. You can wager silver (130) or your pride. This is a challenging drinking game. Make a hard save beforehand if desired.

Go down the steps to the north. Find Finnr on a wooden platform on the church roof.

Speak with Finnr, then jump on the wooden stakes south of the platform and follow the line southeast to the ground.

Optionally, speak with Oswald and Valdis to the northwest.

Speak with Broder again (southwest of the church). You can choose to wield his "plow-sword" and use a specific dialogue option by referring to him by his brother's name.

Speak with Oswald to proceed. Choose your dialogue for his address.

Rued's Appearance: If Rued was spared in 'A Fury from the Sea', he will appear and challenge Oswald. You can choose to fight in Oswald's place or encourage Oswald to fight.

If Oswald Fights Rued: Oswald wins, Rued is banished, and Finnr pledges loyalty to Oswald, not joining your crew.

If Eivor Fights Rued: You will fight a weakened Rued. He is without armor and has a weak point on his left foot. Be cautious of his knockback and flaming projectiles (which can be used against him with Missile Reversal). Killing Rued seals his fate and ensures Finnr joins your crew.

After the fight, Oswald reaffirms his alliance.

If you fought and killed Rued, find Finnr in the longhouse (southeast of town) to recruit him and complete the quest.
