Walkthrough
  1. 1
To infiltrate the monastery, climb the Roman ruins in the center of the grounds.
  2. 2
Follow the rope line from the ruins directly into the monastery through a window.
  3. 3
Kill the archers atop the ruins to remain undetected.
  4. 4
Sabotage the ballista on the ruins or use it to attack soldiers.
  5. 5
Approach the monastery from the north and crash through the window above the main door.
  6. 6
Inside, kill the guards below and open the door for Sigurd and Basim.
  7. 7
Defeat the Yeoman and the Standard Bearer. The Standard Bearer counts towards weakening Eadwyn’s forces for the 'Chipping Away' objective.
  8. 8
Loot the Yeoman's body for the Saint Albanes Crypt Key.
  9. 9
Use the key to open the door to the crypt, located east of the room where the Standard Bearer was killed.
  10. 10
Head down the stairs into the crypt.
  11. 11
Speak with the monk in the corner. You must either intimidate him, pay him 130 silver, or use Charisma (level 2) to convince him to open the door.
  12. 12
Once the monk opens the door, a cutscene will play, introducing Fulke.
  13. 13
Follow Fulke outside and engage in dialogue. The choices do not affect the outcome.
  14. 14
Tell Fulke you are ready to see the stone to proceed to the next quest, or tell her you are not ready if you have other tasks. The quest completes after the conversation.

Raid Saint Albanes Abbey:

  1. Begin the raid from the northeast, initiating from the Ver River.
  2. Fight the soldiers on the shore and loot minor treasure in the hut to the west.
  3. Continue south up the hill to a courtyard with a Roman statue.
  4. If present, defeat the level 160 zealot, Cudberct, who wields a longspear, uses poison, and can heal himself (indicated by a white aura). Interrupt his heals and avoid his attacks. Confirm the kill by interacting with his body after he is defeated.
  5. Take out the ballista on the tower east of the Roman statue.
  6. Loot the four treasure chests of Raw Materials. The guide suggests starting from outside the main Abbey entrance in the south.
  7. To access the first chest: Go west from the entrance to a small building. Use a crew member's help or burn the building to find a hole in the western wall. Use Odin's Sight to locate the chest inside.
  8. To access the second chest: Go east of the entrance, left of the steps to the main door. Take a fire pot, enter the Abbey, and turn west to a room blocked by a barricade. Throw the fire pot at the barricade to destroy it and reveal the chest.
  9. To access the third chest: Leave the Abbey and go east, beyond where the fire pots were found. A small chapel contains the third chest.
Tips
  • Use your cloak to walk through the monastery undetected, staying away from guards.
  • Climbing the central Roman ruins provides an easy entry point via a rope and window.
  • Sabotaging the ballista prevents it from being used against you.
  • If you need help inside the monastery, destroy the link and open the door for Sigurd and Basim to assist.
  • When fighting Cudberct, pay attention to his movements, avoid poison bombs, interrupt his heals, and try to avoid being hit. Allow Dag to tank him if possible.
  • Use Odin's Sight to highlight treasure chests and important items.
  • To access the second treasure chest, you can burn the building or use a crew member to open the door.
