Find the cougar in the eastern Kanien:keh region, east of the village. Reach the objective marker on the cliffs overlooking the river. Enter the green circle and kill the cougar during the subsequent QTE. Skin the cougar and return to the lodge. - 6Mission 6: The Elk Bachelor
Locate the Elk in the southeastern Valley Forge region, by the large lake. Enter the green circle and activate Eagle Vision to identify the golden target. Approach and kill the elk. Skin the elk and return to the lodge.
The Hunting Society Challenges:
Challenges are retrospective and can be tracked in the Logbook via the map menu.
- Challenge Set 1: Kill 5 Deer, Kill a Wolf, Skin 10 animals, Sell Hunting Spoils worth 500 pounds, Use bait with a snare to capture 5 animals, Kill a bear with the Hidden Blade.
- Challenge Set 2: Stealth kill 5 animals using bait, Skin 25 animals, Kill 10 animals with the Hidden Blade, Capture 20 animals with the snare, Kill 15 animals with the bow.
- Challenge Set 3: Skin every species of animal, Kill 5 animals from horseback, Trade Hunting Spoils worth a total of 2,000 pounds, Kill 10 animals in close combat, Complete the hunting Map, Collect 50 undamaged pelts.
- Bears can be found on the eastern shore of the frontier. They can be killed with the Hidden Blade by performing button prompts during an attack or by attacking from branches.
