A Brewing Storm

Dag is a swift opponent despite his size. He often dodges light and heavy attacks when in a defensive stance. The best times to strike are after parrying or dodging his attacks, or just as he executes one. This usually allows for at least two hits before he becomes defensive again.

Most of Dag's attacks can be parried or blocked. His special attack is similar to Eivor's Dive of the Valkyries and is indicated by a red rune aura.

Dag cannot heal. His weak points are his right shoulder, left hand, and left knee. Hitting these with arrows and performing a stun attack can take about a quarter of his health. After this, he will drop his shield and dual-wield axes.

If you struggle with parrying, you can often avoid Dag's basic attacks by walking backwards and around him. Attack after he finishes his combo.

Around 35% health, Dag will fall to the ground. Eivor will offer him exile, which he refuses. He will then attempt to throw an axe, which you should avoid. He will also start using a flying kick, which is best avoided with a dodge.

After the flying kick, Dag is vulnerable to a Stomp attack. Stay close to capitalize on this opportunity.
