Follow our Assassin's Creed Valhalla Heavy Is the Head walkthrough to defeat Leofrith, make crucial dialogue choices, and uncover the fate of Ceolbert.
- 1Immediately after completing 'Tilting the Balance', walk with Ivarr and listen to his dialogue. A dialogue choice will appear, but it has no lasting impact.
- 2After cutscenes, you will wake up south of Tamworth Fortress. Head to the longhouse in the northwestern part of the fortress for a ceremony.
- 3A cutscene will play, interrupted by a warrior reporting a Mercian attack on Repton led by Leofrith. King Ceolwulf believes his son, Ceolbert, is in Repton. Your task is to save Ceolbert and defeat Leofrith's forces.
- 4Travel to Repton (approx. 1400m from Tamworth Fortress). Use a fast travel point if available.
- 5Upon reaching Repton, you'll find the walls breached. Find Ivarr near the town entrance.
- 6Head to the main church in the southeast of Repton. You'll learn Leofrith took someone by boat to the Isle of Waifs (Woden’s Eye) to the northwest.
- 7Make your way to the Isle of Waifs. Follow the voices of Leofrith and Ceolbert to the ruined docks to trigger a boss fight.
Boss Fight: Leofrith
Leofrith is a formidable opponent, but the 'Brush With Death' skill is highly effective. This skill slows time when you dodge, allowing you to retaliate with light attacks.
- Weak Points: Leofrith's right ankle and left forearm. Create distance to shoot these weak points, but be wary of his unblockable charge attack.
- Dodging: Pay attention to yellow animations indicating attacks. Dodge consecutively if needed. A roll is recommended for his heavy charge attack.
- Blue Flash Attack: If Leofrith flashes blue and assumes a battle stance, do not charge him. Instead, shoot his weak points to stun him for massive damage.
- Strategy: Utilize 'Brush With Death' to dodge attacks and counter, or target weak points for stun attacks.
Kill or Spare Leofrith?
After defeating Leofrith, a vision with Odin will occur. Odin will urge you to kill Leofrith. However, it is recommended to follow Eivor's instincts and spare Leofrith to progress the story effectively.
- If you spare Leofrith: He will reveal a scroll with your name on it located in Venonis. You have one in-game day to find and burn this scroll to prevent zealots from hunting you.
- Experience Points
- Silver
- Depending on your choice: Leofrith's Sword (if killed) or Leofrith lives and reveals the scroll location (if spared).
