Part 1
Part 1 of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood guide covers the introduction, version history, and controls for all three consoles. Learn about the game's setting and core mechanics.
Welcome to my 34th Guide, the guide for the Ubisoft game Assassin's Creed, a game set in during the crusades where an assassin, Altair, changes the course of the crusade via a few assassinations. To the name, you play an assassin dispatching all those deemed unworthy to live, and many others along the way.
Contary to modern assassinations, you do not get to use any ranged weapons in the game. The enemy does get the bow, but you do not. Your have a small arsenal, no more arsenal a la GTA where you can carry a rocket launcher, sniper rifles, assault rifles and the like all at once. You get a 3 different blades, and that is all.
Note that this is all fiction, there are no special corporations that are set up by the Templars to find a holy object. Or none that we currently know of. Anyway, the storyline of this is pretty good, and you don't know really know what is going on, even at the ending of the game. It is obviously a set up to Assassin's Creed 2 - The Something. It is a good game, and clearly satisfies all the hype for it. And remember the three tenets of the Assassin's Creed.
- Do not kill innocent civilians
- Always hide in plain sight
- Never Compromise the Brotherhood.
Anyway, with that out of the way, welcome to my guide, and have fun reading, or not. The irony if Ubisoft turned out to be run by Knight Templars.
And as a side note, Altair is pronounced Al-ta-eer, not Al-tair. It is in Arabic you know. And Acre is pronoucned A-cre, not a-cre. The Capital A is a different sound to a Uncapitalised a.

Part 3
Follow our comprehensive walkthrough for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Part 3, covering the defense of Masyaf, Desmond's escape, and the investigation into the traitor.
- 1Head to the fortress and speak with Al Mualim. After a conversation, Templars will attack.
- 2Defend the village by eliminating all Templars. Use your longsword, grab and stab, or Counter-Kill.
- 3Return to the fortress.
- 4Head to a nearby tower by following the GPS and climbing ladders.
- 5Reach the platform and perform a Leap of Faith into a haystack.
- 6Cross beams (automatically done) and climb the tower.
- 7Attack the wooden support at the top to launch a surprise attack on the Templars.
- 8You will return to Desmond's present. Head to your room to eavesdrop on Lucy and Dr. Vidic in the conference room.
- 9After their conversation, return to your bedroom and interact with the bed to sleep.
- 10You will start Memory Block 2 stripped of moves and weapons. Meet a fellow brother at the fortress gates.
- 11Head to the marketplace, marked on your GPS, and sit on a bench near two suspicious men. Lock on to one to eavesdrop.
- 12Find the Basket Weaver using your GPS/map. Lock on from a distance to pickpocket him. Follow him and pickpocket when he is looking straight ahead using the empty hand function (Shift for PC, Circle for PS3, B for Xbox). Hold the button to pickpocket.
- 13Find Masun near a Cyprus Tree. Lock onto him to start the interrogation. Follow him into a dark area and punch him until he talks.
- 14Bring Masun before Al Mualim. A cutscene will play where Masun confesses his betrayal.
- 15You will learn new moves: Blocking (using High Profile button in combat) and Combo Kills (attacking in tandem with blade strikes). Complete the tutorial three times or quit to move on.
- 16You have now found the traitor and have 9 names to silence.

- Synchronizing Level 1
- Regain Sword and Hidden Blade
- Learn Deflect and Combo Kills
Part 4
Complete walkthrough for Part 4 of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, covering Kingdom exploration, entering Damascus, saving civilians, and completing investigations like Eavesdrop, Interrogation, and Pickpocket missions.
- 1Upon entering the Kingdom, the largest area, focus on synchronizing with all available View Points (marked as eagle tokens on the map). There are 12 in the Kingdom, with 8 accessible now and 4 unlocked later. Climbing to the top of a View Point and synchronizing grants a better view of the map and nearby points of interest. These are usually guarded by enemy soldiers.
- 2Flags are collectibles scattered throughout the game, with 100 in the Kingdom, primarily found in hiding spots or elevated locations. They are not essential for gameplay progression but contribute to game completion.
- 3Templars are distinct enemies, identifiable by the Templar's Cross and helmet. They are heavily armored, appear alone near treasure chests or corners, and will pursue Altaïr even when regular guards give up. There are 60 Templars in total.
- 4It is generally recommended to prioritize clearing View Points first, saving Flags and Templars for later due to their abundance.
- 5After clearing View Points, head towards Damascus. Use the map to navigate, as the route can be confusing. Ignore enemy soldiers encountered along the way.
- 6Upon reaching the front gates of Damascus, you will witness soldiers bullying a scholar. This initiates a civilian rescue mission. Lock onto a guard and kill all guards surrounding the scholar.
- 7Do not stray too far from the scholar, as this can lead to mission failure. Utilize blocking and combo kills, as Altaïr has limited moves at this stage.
- 8After saving the scholar, lock onto them to spawn scholars. Blend into this group by sprinting in low profile to pass the surrounding guards. Exit the blend once past the guards.
- 9From this point forward, citizens will require saving throughout the city. Prioritize completing all View Points in the Poor District of Damascus. This reveals the full map, available missions, and locations of citizens needing rescue.
- 10Completing View Points and saving citizens increases the synchronization bar. Accumulating 15 such actions adds an extra bar to the sync bar, increasing Altaïr's health.
- 11You must complete 6 investigations, though only two are mandatory. Completing all six provides comprehensive information for assassinations.
- 12Eavesdrop: Located in the center of the map. Eavesdrop on two men for information.
- 13Interrogation: Follow your mark into a dark alleyway, beat him for information, and Altaïr will automatically kill him.
- 14Pickpocket: The Northernmost Pickpocket is challenging due to the target's suspicion; act quickly.
- 15Pickpocket: The Easternmost Pickpocket is easier but still requires attention.
- 16Eavesdrop: The Southern Eavesdrop, near the Interrogation mission, provides information about Vigilantes being useful for quick escapes.
- 17Console Version - Eavesdrop: Another easy mission located in the East.
- 18PC Version - Informer: Find the first informer for a lead. You have 90 seconds to find a second informer. Escort the second informer out of the city, kill the attacking guards, and let him escape. This reveals that Tamir is within the Souk and requires an invitation to enter.
- Focus on View Points early to reveal the map and mission locations, making subsequent tasks easier.
- Use the blend mechanic effectively to bypass guards after civilian rescue missions.
- Be aware of the differences between PC and Console versions for certain investigation missions.
- Increased synchronization bar (health) upon completing 15 View Points or civilian rescues.
- Information crucial for carrying out assassinations.
