Carrying the Torch

Alright, so you're looking to wrap up the 'Carrying the Torch' quest in Ravensthorpe for Assassin's Creed Valhalla? It's a pretty straightforward one, mostly focused on a bit of story and character interaction. You'll get this quest after you've finished up the 'Reporting on East Anglia' mission. Randvi will let you know that poor Svend has passed away in his sleep, and Tove is understandably taking it pretty hard. Your job is to head out and check on her.

You'll find Tove out in the woods, just to the west of the longhouse. You can't miss it – it's where Svend has been buried. When you get there and start talking to Tove, you'll have a few dialogue choices, but honestly, none of them really change the direction of the conversation. Eivor will do their best to comfort her, which is the main point. Once that scene wraps up, make sure you go over and interact with the burial mound itself. You'll get a chance to speak with Svend, and you can actually return to his grave anytime you want to have another chat.
